Advice & Injury Disclaimer

Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic Ltd, trading as “Phil the Physio” and “Urban Body Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation”

Last updated: 15/06/2026

This Advice & Injury Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to all content created, published or shared by Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic Ltd (company number 06811100) (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as “Phil the Physio” and “Urban Body Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation”. This includes, without limitation:

  • our websites, including philthephysio.com, pages.philthephysio.com and quiz.philthephysio.com

  • our social media channels, including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram (@philthephysio)

  • emails, WhatsApp messages, newsletters, blog posts and articles

  • the book Built To Last After 50 and any accompanying materials

  • The Vault and any other video, follow-along or downloadable content

  • our online quiz and the personalised Roadmap report it generates

  • any free guides, challenges, workshops, webinars or online events we host

By accessing, reading, watching or using any of this content, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. General information only

Everything we share — including exercises, movement routines, the Roadmap report, explanations, articles, images, videos and downloadable guides — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

It is not, and should not be treated as:

  • medical advice

  • a diagnosis

  • physiotherapy treatment

  • a personalised exercise prescription

  • a substitute for an in-person or one-to-one clinical assessment

This is true of all our content, whether free or paid, unless you have separately booked and received a personalised assessment with us.

2. Created by a physiotherapist — but not personalised to you

Our content is created by, or under the direction of, a Chartered, HCPC-registered physiotherapist. Even so, reading our material or following our exercises does not create a treatment relationship and is not a substitute for individual professional care.

Only a one-to-one consultation (in person or online) allows us to take your history, examine you, identify anything that might make a particular exercise unsuitable, and give advice tailored to you.

If you have pain, existing health conditions, recent surgery, or you are unsure whether something is right for you, please speak to your GP, a physiotherapist or another qualified healthcare professional before you begin.

3. Your Roadmap report and quiz score

The online quiz and the personalised Roadmap report it produces are based entirely on the answers you provide yourself. We do not see you, examine you, or review your medical history when generating your report.

Your score, your suggested stage, and the exercises included are therefore general guidance based on self-reported information — not a clinical assessment, diagnosis or prescription. Think of them as a helpful starting point to take action, not a personalised treatment plan.

4. Exercise carries risk

All physical activity carries some inherent risk. By following any exercise or routine in our content, you accept that:

  • not every exercise is suitable for every person

  • you are responsible for judging what is appropriate for your own body and ability

  • you should build up gradually and work within your comfort

  • you should stop immediately and seek advice if you feel pain, dizziness, breathlessness, chest pain, numbness, tingling, or any unexpected symptom

If you are in any doubt, get individual advice before continuing.

5. The Vault and video content

The Vault and any other follow-along videos, programmes or routines are general information only. Having access to them does not mean we are checking your technique, confirming an exercise is right for you, monitoring your progress, or accepting clinical responsibility for your results. They remain general guidance unless you book and receive a personalised assessment.

6. No guarantees of results

We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome, including improvements in strength, mobility, balance, pain or confidence, the speed or scale of any results, or results similar to those described by others. Everyone is different, and your results depend on many factors outside our control.

Any stories, reviews or testimonials we share reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of what you will achieve.

7. Accuracy and limitations

We take care to keep our content accurate, evidence-informed and current, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, error-free or suitable for your individual circumstances. If you spot something that looks wrong, please let us know at info@philthephysio.com.

8. When you become a client

Using our website, social media, emails, book, The Vault, quiz or Roadmap report does not make you a client and does not create a physiotherapist–patient relationship.

You only become a client when you have booked a consultation or service with us and we have confirmed it to you in writing (for example, an appointment confirmation). Until then, you are using general information only.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, our general content — including content followed without a personalised assessment, exercises performed without supervision, or exercises you have modified or interpreted yourself. You remain responsible for your own decisions when using online exercise content.

10. Your personal data

How we collect and use the information you give us — for example, through the quiz or when you sign up for emails or WhatsApp updates — is explained in our separate Privacy Policy (philthephysio.com/privacy-policy).

11. Changes to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The version published on our website is the current one, and the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
